When photography meets 3D modelling. This 3D model is based on 50 images taken on-site at the University of Edinburgh Collection Facility.
This is a collection tin from around 1940s used to collect funds to support Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. The hospital was running on public donations before the launch of NHS in 1948. Thanks to LHSA (http://lhsa.lib.ed.ac.uk) for helping me to get access to the material.
virtual tour with 360° panoramas
Last year, during my master studies in the University of Edinburgh, I had an opportunity to work with 360° cameras. I have developed a virtual tour throughout secret gardens of Edinburgh, using InstaPro 360 camera, Adobe CC tools and Lapentor platform.
Part of the project was a detailed documentation of my workflow, that covers equipment check list, tips for setting up a camera, as well as a tutorial on how to edit and stitch spherical panoramas in Photoshop.
